CRDP-Ebooks 3.0.12

The Center for Educational Research and Development (CRDP) offers teachers, students, and parents in Lebanon access to digital versions of national textbooks and their corresponding educational guides. Available for all educational stages from preschool to the third year of secondary school, this digital collection covers a broad range of subjects. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's (MEHE) strategy in Lebanon to enhance distance learning opportunities nationwide.

CRDP has introduced the "CRDP ebooks" application for downloading these digital textbooks at no cost. Users can easily download all required textbooks at the beginning of the academic year with a one-time internet connection, providing offline access throughout the school year. The primary aim is to alleviate the instructional challenges faced by educators and students in public schools during remote learning, aiming to enhance the overall educational quality for Lebanese learners.

Version 2.0.0 Update:

• Global authentication: Users can now utilize a single MEHE account for all systems, facilitating user verification and information synchronization with the CRDP system.
  
• Resume Reading feature: Easily pick up where you last left off in a book with this feature that bookmarks your progress.
  
• Bookmarks: Allow students and teachers to save specific pages for quick reference.
  
• List of contents for books: Explore book contents, chapters, sections, subsections, and page numbers within each title.
  
• Voice Recorder: Capture and store voice memos directly within the app.
  
• Notes: Annotate text notes on each page for better comprehension.
  
• Draw or Highlight: Ability to highlight or draw on text for further study and analysis.
  
• Notification system: Receive timely updates and announcements from CRDP regarding new materials or news.
  

The CRDP, with support from USAID's QITABI 2 project, has released an enhanced version of its eBooks application.
